The mountains are right nearby, and it only takes a few minutes by car to reach a natural pool. The little town is full of friendly people, with trails for the cave route close at hand. We arrived on the festival's final day, when an orchestra had been set up right in front of the house. The house itself is lovely, with two floors, a balcony, and a patio with a barbecue. In about a 30- to 1-hour drive, you can visit Alberca, Ciudad Rodrigo, and downtown Salamanca.

There isn't much to do in the village itself, but it's a handy place to stay for trips to La Alberca, Mogarraz, the Sierra de Francia mountains, and other spots. We were six adults and two kids, and there was loads of room. I liked that the children could play freely, and the house was completely quiet. The kitchen has everything we needed, there was firewood for the barbecue, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were really friendly and easy to reach.

Shops and supermarkets are quite a distance away, and there were some flies around, though they weren't a major problem. Still, it's a beautiful place to spend some time. From the outside it looks like an old house, but inside it's pleasant and homey. It's set up in the mountains with stunning scenery. Definitely a great place to visit.

The owners were so friendly and attentive. It's a very quiet village with very few people living there, and there are lots of lovely nearby towns that are great for walks and hiking. The house is wonderful, really spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a fantastic inner patio with a barbecue.

The bedrooms are a good size, the rooms are spacious, and the house is fully equipped. There's also an inner patio that's just right for barbecues. It's a beautiful village in a stunning setting, with hiking and cycling routes where you can enjoy nature, plus plenty of nearby attractions.
