El Mijolar Apartamentos

Jose was a pleasure to talk to and always happy to help with advice and recommendations. We felt right at home and hope to return. The Desvan apartment is spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything I needed. The bed is huge, too. It’s in a really quiet village near Potes, with spectacular scenery all around. The photos look lovely, but being there is even better.

The place is cozy, warm, and really clean, and the person who looked after us was so friendly throughout. We got stuck in the snow twice on the way and arrived around three hours late, but were still welcomed so warmly. It’s a pretty spacious place, though the room is quite open and has one double bed, so it really suits two people. With that setup, it could also work for a family or group of friends. The warmth was especially welcome in winter.

The scenery is beautiful, and the apartment has climate control. The table was sticky in a few spots, though, and the kitchen is very poorly equipped. It was missing small appliances, pots and pans, and there were very few utensils. There was no coffee in the room, despite what had been indicated.

Our apartment was downstairs, spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had all the services we needed. The fireplace gives it a special feel. The house has three apartments and sits in a privileged spot for views and peace, very close to Potes. José was attentive the whole time and is a wonderful person. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it. Thanks!
