The room's internet was slow, around 3MB/s, but still usable. In the foyer, it was super fast at about 200MB/s. The car park was convenient, though some sensors seemed faulty and it was sometimes pitch black when we got out of the car. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern soft lighting, excellent air conditioning, and a nice demister behind the bathroom mirror. A very comfortable hotel. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in Ciudad Real.

The biggest issue was the internet, which kept disconnecting. Room sizes were about average, and the restaurant was average to good. Breakfast starts at 8 on regular weekdays, which is late if you need to be at work by then. Since the area isn't a tourist destination, not many people speak English, but you can get by with a few basic words.

It's a decent enough hotel and parking is free. There's not much room to walk along the corridor, so watch your step and keep an eye on the kids. You'll need to walk 1 km to find food.

Cumbria is a top-rated hotel and a home for many of Ciudad Real's trailblazing businesses, including language schools. It has a fully equipped gym run by qualified instructors, along with purpose-built conference facilities for meetings that serve local businesses and large international corporations. There's a restaurant with a range of hot and cold food, and the bar is a relaxed place to meet up or have a snack.
