Alberg Juvenil Sa Vinyeta

Breakfast was good, and the room was reasonably clean for the price. But the heat made the stay really difficult. The top floor was INTENSE, the bathroom felt like a sauna, and the room was hot too. The receptionist kindly gave us a fan, but there were only two plugs for four or five people. One was in the bathroom and always in use, so we had to choose between charging our phones and getting some air. It's the cheapest option, but they don't provide sheets, and sleeping with all the mosquitoes was rough.

Sa Vinyeta feels like a hidden gem. I've travelled all over the world, and this was such a charming stay, with lovely decor, care in all the little details, and a warm, welcoming feel. The staff were incredibly friendly too. Hasta la próxima ✋

It's centrally located, with everything close by, and the price is very cheap. Still, I wouldn't recommend it, even at that price. The rooms weren't secure, since the accommodation isn't in an enclosed area and anyone can get in at night. The lockers didn't look difficult to break open either. It was far too hot to sleep, especially in the upper beds and behind the window opening, with no ventilation or air conditioning. There was one main light for the whole room, no individual bed lights, and no shelves by the upper beds. The mattress could be more comfortable. Noise continued past quiet hours, even in the middle of the night, and the lights outside the room stayed on all night without being dimmed. The kitchen could be cleaner and could use a hotplate, and breakfast needed more variety.

The staff were about as kind as they come, and the rooms were spotless. The place has a young atmosphere and a handy location. Under-30s get discounts, and you can rent towels and sheets cheaply instead of bringing them from home, which is a nice extra.
