There’s plenty of room here, with lots of bedrooms and beds, a lovely garden, and a big pool. But the house itself is badly let down by what’s inside. The mattresses were awful and, despite the rooms being clean, the whole place had a musty smell. The kitchen was especially disappointing: the coffee maker had mold, the dishes and cutlery were greasy and dirty, the oven still had burnt food in it, and the dishwasher didn’t get anything clean. Basic tools were missing too, including a cutting board, wooden spatula, and sharp knife. The shower tap was broken, and promised basics like soap, oil, pepper, and salt weren’t there. We were also charged tourist tax without it being shown on the listing, even though it’s supposed to be disclosed there.

There’s a covered porch with outdoor tables and chairs, and the Wi-Fi works well. The quinta has seven bedrooms and can sleep up to 13 people, with Ciutadella only a five-minute drive away. Getting to the property means taking a dirt road with a few potholes.

We were quite comfortable here in the end, though there were several faults around the house and the musty smell was strong when we arrived. The place is spacious, attractive, and well equipped, but the cleaning could be much better. A few phone calls and an email did get everything sorted out.

The surroundings are lovely and quiet. Inside, though, there’s a strong damp smell, and the mattresses need replacing. The damp problem needs fixing too. If they deal with those things, it would be much better.

The house is pretty plain and lacks charm, and its two bathrooms feel too small for the number of people it can accommodate. The location itself is good.
