The host was so gracious, and the bed was comfortable in a really peaceful, quiet place. The washing machine was great for cleaning my hiking clothes. Highly recommend it for a one-night stay when the nearby Albergue’s are full!

Yolanda and Maia made us feel very welcome, and were happy to answer questions and share lots of local information. Altikarra is a comfortable, nicely furnished house with tasteful decor. It’s well placed for Pamplona and the basque provinces, with easy access. I’d happily recommend it to anyone exploring Pamplona and the Navarre province. Thankyou, Maia and Yolanda, for the hospitality. Besos

I liked the atmosphere and the location. It’s a cute little space, though it did feel a bit cramped.

The food was good, though a bit expensive. Service at the table was slow, so don’t come here in a rush.

There’s plenty of countryside nearby for long walks, and the apartment is in a quiet little village. The place is well adapted for wheelchair use, which worked very well for me. Our host was friendly and ready to help or share whatever information we needed. We brought our dog, Kuma, too, and they didn’t give us any trouble. We’ll definitely come back if we need to go to Navarre.
