The reception staff were very nice, and there’s a huge car park. But the rooms are small, there’s no AC, and the shower curtain wasn’t practical. The sheets had holes, and in the morning there was a lot of noise from the cleaning staff in the hallway.

The area was very quiet, and the garden pool was a lovely place to cool off and unwind among the woods. Our beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom and shower were spotless. The staff were very friendly. There’s no air conditioning in the downstairs rooms, though; I suppose you may not need it if you can open the windows.

The pool area is the one thing going for this place. The facilities are terrible, and the rooms smell strongly of damp. Seeing a coffee-stained napkin on the floor beside reception when we arrived was off-putting, and the smell in the room was worse. The bathrooms have flimsy shower curtains that let water spill out. Everything is very old and poorly equipped. I don’t see how it can have two stars, especially since it isn’t even a cheap hostel.

We were a family of four and stayed three nights in two rooms. The peaceful setting and fantastic pool were great, and the service was excellent. Someone recommended Mesón do Abuelo Peón, and we loved it. Thanks for the warm welcome and attention. We’ll definitely return.
