A lovely base for seeing the sights across rural northern Spain, with Bilbao and Santander nearby. The house has been updated and works really well for a family reunion. Make time for the village of Liendo and Restaurante Ambigu.

The terrace, pool, and barbecue were a real treat, and the rooms were comfortable for all nine of us. We had a wonderful weekend at La Quinta in Colindres. The hostess was warm and helpful, and we were even greeted with anchovies and a bottle of wine. We'd love to come back in summer and enjoy the outdoor space more.

The owner was so kind and ready to help with anything, and the location was excellent. We spent the December bank holiday weekend there with 12 family members, a baby, and three dogs. The house was spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor and loads of Christmas decorations. Every little detail seemed to be taken care of. It was an amazing stay, top marks. Thanks for everything.

Ana and her husband were lovely, even sorting out a misunderstanding that was my fault. Our group of friends meets up several times a year, usually in rural houses, and this one was hard to beat. It was clean, well located, and had everything we needed. I'm sure there are things I've forgotten to mention. We'll definitely return.

The owner was really attentive and friendly, and we'd happily come back. We picked Casa La Quinta for a few days with the family and it turned out to be a great choice. It was spacious, with the rooms and shared areas kept in meticulous shape, and we didn't find ourselves wanting for anything.
