La Fonda de Bustio

The location was ideal for visiting the Picos de Europa mountains and the beautiful beaches. We spent six days at the inn, in an excellent apartment where every detail had been considered and everything was impeccably maintained. The service was outstanding, thank you, Angelita. Daily cleaning was spotless, thank you, Carmen. A real pleasure.

The apartments are well equipped and sit in a quiet area where parking is easy. There’s even a small supermarket in the same building. Angelita is a wonderful, charming host. Highly recommended.

Bustio is the first town in Asturias, with the Deva River between it and Cantabria. Cross the bridge and you’re in Unquera. There are several apartments in the building; ours was on the top floor, with a sloping ceiling and three bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms. Everything was spotless, tastefully furnished, and fully equipped. The owner was very attentive and checked in on everyone. I highly recommend staying here.

The rooms look out over the estuary, and parking was easy. We were very comfortable here, in an excellent location between Asturias and Cantabria, and the apartments had every detail covered. The woman who runs the place was very friendly. I highly recommend it.
