The food was delicious, freshly made with local ingredients and full of flavor. Patricia was such a warm, kind host, too. Around the place, nature has a calming effect, and the colorful rooms with their lovely bohemian touches feel homey and full of life. It’s a little hidden gem that helped me feel more at peace quickly. I can’t wait to return 😊

The apartments have an artistic bohemian look, and they’re a good fit for anyone who loves the outdoors and countryside. They’re in Asque, in the heart of Sierra de Guara Mountains, with rivers and waterfalls all around. The charming, passionate hostess also prepares delicious Spanish home-cooked meals on site.

The owner’s behavior was troubling from the start. She seemed to smell of alcohol and acted aggressively toward us. Nearby neighbors said this was regular behavior and that police were often called over similar problems. We left because the facilities were unsatisfactory: there was no heating, barely any hot water, dirt, cobwebs and dead flies, and almost no pressure from the tap. The metal stairs were slippery, without signs or lighting. In December, the pool was full but had no signs, fencing, or lighting. Two friends joined us at the last minute, and the owner agreed to add beds, which turned out to be two dirty, damp mattresses from an outdoor terrace, placed on the floor. We had booked by phone and weren’t told the booking conditions. When we left, the owner called the police to demand more money than we had already paid for our stay. When challenged to provide “hojas de reclamación,” she couldn’t find them and repeatedly denied our claims. Avoid this place! It took her five years to notice this review. That’s what I call diligence. I wrote it in English, and not understanding that English has no gender distinction across many words says a lot about your level of education. Patience to everyone who has to deal with you regularly, especially the police officers who clearly told us you were a regular troublemaker.

The hostess was delightful, and the atmosphere was really friendly. It’s a comfortable, laid-back place that feels quite different from the usual.
