The breakfasts were different and delicious each day, and the owners even packed one for us to take when we left at 3am. The owners were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and will definitely return. This unique boutique hotel is a treasure in the heart of Cómpeta, with amazing views from our room and the rooftop terrace.

Dear Lilian and Leonhard, We loved staying in the Casa room. You’ve made “Mi casa es su casa” mean even more. Your warm Dutch hospitality alongside the lovely Spanish Mediterranean atmosphere really brings together the best of both worlds. The generous, luxurious breakfast was served with care and a smile. The hostess is attentive and friendly, a lovely finishing touch to the stay. The accommodation has beautifully furnished rooms right in the heart of Cómpeta. Its roof terrace is a real highlight, with gorgeous countryside views and a lovely spot to linger over a glass or two of wine. If you want a break from the busy coast and enjoy hiking in beautiful surroundings, this is just the place.

The breakfast is well worth booking. The owners serve something different each day, from fresh rolls to homemade granola with fresh fruit. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I especially recommend the Bodega in summer, it’s the coolest room in the house and lovely on warm evenings. Mesón la hospedería is a cozy B&B in the heart of Competa, run by a very nice couple. I’ll definitely be back 🙌🏼
