Apartamentos Conil Alquila

We couldn't sleep with the heat and all the ants, and there's no air conditioning. We all woke up with itchy rashes from those beds. A lot of things were broken too. The washing machine had to be opened with a fork, and the bathroom window wouldn't close, so anyone walking by could see you. The pool isn't suitable for kids since it's all one depth. After the deposit, they didn't say when they'd return it, and I had to get in touch to ask for a €60 discount. I told them about everything that was broken, but I still can't give fewer stars. Check the reviews before you go. This place was awful.

One star is as low as I can rate it. The apartments are terribly run, the cleanliness is awful, and the staff are especially bad. The contract has abusive clauses they make you sign, and they keep your deposit over the smallest issue or even with no reason. They won't explain their actual reasons face to face, either. You have to keep calling and chasing them, while they pass the responsibility around. If you're going to Conil, spend a little more on a better apartment. I don't recommend this place at all, you'll get ripped off.

I've rented through Conil Alquila for years and always travel with my pet, and they've never charged me before. Booking.com says pets are allowed, but when we booked there was no mention of the €15 dog fee, and we couldn't cancel. At reception, the woman checking us in was very rude. She said I had to pay the €15 right then or she wouldn't hand over the key. She also said there was no cancellation policy and I wouldn't find anywhere else that day if I left. I felt ripped off, and the whole thing was completely unprofessional. I won't return or recommend Conil Alquila, and I've already filed a complaint with Booking.com.

The staff left a lot to be desired, and I felt watched by a security guard who patrolled the hallways when I was leaving in the early hours. It felt like a prison. On arrival, they had me sign a deposit without first explaining the abusive terms. Forget getting your money back: if something is broken, even if it's old and already used, they'll charge you and keep the deposit. For a little more, you could stay closer to the beach somewhere better. I feel completely ripped off. One star only because I can't give less. I would never come back.
