Albergue Inturjoven Córdoba - Hostel

The room was quite good and the bathroom was great, though four people made it feel claustrophobic. We also waited for change for the washing machine while the receptionist swore and complained behind his computer. The service was horrible. Breakfast was a rip-off. No eggs, just cheap bread with cheap ham or a banana. We ended up buying breakfast elsewhere for the other three days of our stay.

After a week of walking, I stayed two nights to recover, and the place was just what I needed. The rooms were great, and the location was wonderful. I had dinner there one evening, which was quite acceptable. It’s a hostal, as described, but the other places I stayed were well below this Hostel’s standard.

The room smelled foul for all four days, apparently from the pipes on the second floor. Four people were cramped into a room with just one bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were disgusting, with processed food and cheap bread and ham.

The breakfast was very poor, and the room we got wasn’t the double room shown in the booking photos. It had bunk beds for two people. For a lower price, I might have put up with that, but the cost was in line with other places nearby, so the value felt very questionable. I wouldn’t stay again. I’d pay a bit more for somewhere better, even if it were farther away. Cordoba is easy to explore on foot, so staying across the river wouldn’t have been a problem.
