The city-center location means you can walk to all the tourist attractions, and the value for money is excellent. The room was spacious and clean, with impeccable service from the staff. The accommodation sits in a beautiful Cordoban courtyard that must be spectacular in spring, and it was a pleasant surprise to find everything so good. There's no parking on site, though you can find a spot nearby or use the paid public garage. The stairs aren't suitable for people with reduced mobility. It's definitely a place I'd return to.

We visited on a Saturday during Christmas and found it very affordable. Check-in times are flexible, and you can check out as late as midnight. Our room was huge and very clean, with a terrace, private bathroom with hot water, a comfortable bed and pillow, and air conditioning for both heating and cooling. The staff were very friendly, and the room is in a courtyard you can visit. They also give you a ticket to see four courtyards. Highly recommended.

The room was very ordinary and everything looked quite old. The bathroom had a bad smell, probably from the pipes. I suppose offering a €40 room instead of renovating and charging €70 makes sense, but I've run into water heaters instead of boilers before, and they're not very practical.

The managers weren't there when we arrived, and after knocking several times we had to wait. The online descriptions and ratings set expectations that this stay didn't meet. They mention a welcome kit, but we didn't even get a bottle of water. The alley is desolate, though not far from the center, which was the best part of the location. The shower was completely broken and open on one side, and the sink was leaning. Neither of us could get a hot shower, a serious problem, and I've attached a photo. There wasn't even a closet. They charge hotel prices while trying to save money and provide no reception. It was an unpleasant stay, absolutely avoid this experience.

Free access to explore the other courtyards was a wonderful extra, and the person who helped us was incredibly friendly and welcoming. At The Patio Lodge, the room was comfortable, quiet, and impeccably maintained, a lovely place to unwind after exploring the city. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the Jewish Quarter, so the main attractions are easy to reach. I'd recommend it without hesitation and would return.
