We stayed in March and really liked it. The courtyard was cosy, with lots of orange trees, and the staff were helpful and gave us good recommendations. The location was perfect. Just be aware that parking in the garage could be tricky with a large vehicle, like our minivan.

The room was cheap, and breakfast was included, but there wasn’t enough space for clothes and belongings. You have to ask reception for a hair dryer, and there’s no power outlet in the bathroom. You can use the one in the room, but there’s no mirror there. Paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling, so the place definitely needs renovating. The location in the old town is great, service is very good, and the hallways and courtyards are nicely decorated.

There’s a garage for parking about 50 metres away. Call them as you arrive and they’ll open it for you. The hotel itself is small but lovely, with nice inner courtyards and friendly service. Breakfast was good, though it could have been a bit more generous.

We visited in January '12, and the room was snug and warm even though the nights were cold. It had both A/C and an electric heater, which was already warming the room when we arrived. The hotel felt original and was an easy walk from the station, with the centre close by too. Breakfast came with the room rate, but we skipped it and found plenty of nearby cafeterías. It was nicer to grab coffee and bread among the friendly, helpful locals. Córdoba is well worth a stop on a trip through Spain.
