The location could hardly be better, and I was very happy with my stay. The place was clean and nice, and the staff were amazing and helpful. My room had what I needed, including a small kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable bed, but it was really, really humid. The building doesn't seem suited to being divided into rooms like this, and I had to leave the air conditioning on all the time to dry it out.

We were shocked by how management handled a broken TV. My husband and I found it broken and promptly sent a photo and message through WhatsApp. They didn't reply, so we assumed they already knew about it. A week later, the third-party booking agency told us management was accusing us of breaking it. We tried to sort out what seemed like a misunderstanding, but they denied ever receiving our report and wouldn't accept the truth. Even after we sent screenshots showing the message and its receipt, they wouldn't acknowledge it or admit the accusation was wrong. We had proof, and the agency agreed we weren't responsible, so we didn't have to pay. I'd avoid booking with people who handle things this way. If you do book, I strongly recommend inspecting the place in person with someone, then reporting any damage directly, on WhatsApp, and through the booking agency. WhatsApp records when messages are sent and read.

The location is good, but there isn't parking. A paid lot ten minutes away on foot over cobblestones doesn't count as having parking. The man on the other end of WhatsApp had no sense of service.

We had two sleepless nights because too many young people in the rooms above were partying, singing, and shouting. They ignored our repeated complaints and the house rules, showing no respect for other guests trying to sleep. Even with our host's very good service, I regret advising against a stay here. Our first ground-floor room was damp, cramped, and dark. The host and manager helped us move to a larger ground-floor room, but it had no windows for ventilation. Water from the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, and although we reported it, the host could only make a temporary repair. The room is still damp, with no shower steam extraction, peeling walls covered in efflorescence, and a musty smell. A. MARTIN HIDALGO
