Hotel Don Paula

Don Paula was just right for us: spotlessly clean, quiet, and close to everything. We stayed in early October 25, and the staff were very friendly. We’re older travelers but not fussy, and we don’t travel for hotel experiences or need concierge service. The room had a good mini split air conditioner that we could control, plus a great bathroom with a nice shower, hot water, and a bidet. There’s a coffee machine downstairs, but we went out in the morning to Plaza San Nicolas for a tostada and cafe co leche. The location was peaceful while still being near everything.

A lovely little place in the heart of the Old Town, with everything close by. It’s an 18-minute walk from the train station, and a great choice. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Cordoba.

The price felt like a real bargain for the level of comfort and care here, and I’d happily come back. The staff were warm and quick to help, which made the place feel personal. My room was spotless, the linens were fresh, and the whole property seemed well looked after from the minute I arrived.

The front desk woman was so patient and helpful. She doesn't speak English, but used translation and carefully showed me everything. The hotel sits in a quiet part of the city, about a 10-minute walk from the mesquite cathedral. Inside, everything was immaculate, with a free mini bar, especially welcome cold water in Cordoba's heat, a comfortable bed, nice linens and towels, cool marble flooring, working AC, and even a bidet. Highly recommend!!!
