Our room had a cozy feel with Moroccan touches, and we heard the doors came from Marrakech. We stayed three nights at the romantic, charming boutique hotel Patio del Posadero, not far from the city centre and Jewish quarter. The staff were hospitable, friendly, and easy to approach. Breakfast was fresh, healthy, and delicious, with even a little dessert. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The food alone makes dinner here worth trying. Jose’s cooking was superb, and everything we ate was exceptional. Lisa, Jose, Elena and Lucy were so kind and welcoming, and their service was on another level. They even sat down with us and a map to point out the main things to see in Cordoba. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of character, tucked along a quiet street about a 10-minute walk from the Mezquita. It’s amazing value, too. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to friends. Thank you, Lisa & Jose, for a wonderful stay. Chris and Trish

We slept really well, thanks to the very good beds. The little hotel is beautiful, with lots of lovely details and well-designed rooms, though our room had a bit limited space for luggage. The owners and team are friendly, kind, and helpful, and they cook amazingly well. The food was delicious, and we highly suggest eating there. It was a really nice stay.

The hotel was even more gorgeous than the area around it. The staff were absolutely lovely and took care of everything we needed. Our rooms were beautiful, and fresh essentials were supplied each day. There’s also an upstairs bar where you can buy drinks, including alcohol, coffee, tea, and water, when reception is closed. Thanks for making our trip so special. We had a fantastic time and really look forward to coming back.

Jose welcomed us, and he and his team made us feel so comfortable that it felt like our tenth visit, even though it was our first. The hospitality was every bit as lovely as the building. It’s a small, intimate boutique with six bedrooms looking onto a classic Cordoban courtyard full of elegant plants and furnishings. Our top-floor room was reached by a spiral stone staircase, and the warm, luxurious finish took our breath away. Every detail felt considered. We learned Jose is an architect as well as a host. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet alley off a narrow street paved with chino cordobes. Once inside, the city noise seemed to disappear and everything felt calm. We arrived late in the afternoon with unsettled weather, so we stayed in for dinner. That turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip. Jose put on his chef’s hat and made an incredible four-course meal, as good as anything we’ve had at fine-dining restaurants over the years. We had their own wines, sweetly named after their children, and their outstanding olive oil. The location is nicely balanced, a short walk from the Cathedral, Puente Romano, and Los Patios, while far enough from the busy tourist streets to feel peaceful. My wife and I stayed two nights at Hotel Patio del Posadero in Cordoba, and I’m still thinking about how beautiful it was. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re visiting.
