Parador De Cordoba

We always look forward to reaching parador de Córdoba after a long drive. It’s quiet, has a lovely atmosphere, and makes for a good night’s sleep, with welcoming staff. The rooms are consistently high quality, there’s good parking, and the pool is great for both adults and children. We also really like the food and the breakfast buffet. It’s a regular stop for my family and me when we travel.

Aug 1st 2025 From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty. As friends of paradores, we were given a junior suite without asking, with our own balcony, sofas, sun loungers and a breakfast table and chairs. The pool setting was beautiful, with plenty of loungers and a bar. Free parking was a great bonus, and once again the food was amazing. April 2025 We had a room facing the town, with a balcony and amazing night views. The staff were friendly and professional, and the beautiful grounds and lovely interior made the stay feel special. Restaurant food was very good, with a good range. The waitresses made their service feel personal and made us feel important. We were treated like royalty from arrival. An excellent hotel.

Our fourth-floor suite had a wrap-around balcony, and the room was the best I’ve stayed in for comfort, privacy, cleanliness, peace and views. I can see why people leave mixed reviews, though. A standard room would have disappointed me: they’re noisy, the balconies are tiny, and you’d lose the views if you were at the back. The bar staff were pleasant. At breakfast, though, we weren’t always asked if we wanted coffee or hot food, and the hot options were limited. The omelettes varied in quality from day to day. On checkout, reception didn’t seem very engaged. That let down what should be a great hotel.

The garden was very green and the pool was huge and quiet. We had a big terrace overlooking Cordoba, spacious rooms, and possibly the best mattress ever. Breakfast was delicious and first rate.
