I really regret staying here. The host messaged me the day before to say reception would close at 3 PM and asked me to contact them if I’d arrive later. He doesn’t speak English, and I ended up waiting outside for half an hour before I could get in. The room was dirty, had no windows, and there were bugs on the walls. The host was irresponsible. I don’t understand the positive reviews.

The rainy-day ambience was actually really nice, and the place felt cozy. The two people who helped me were nice, the bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Great location too, with a great bocadillo shop across the street. The only annoying bit was carrying a ring of three separate keys for three different locks every time I went in or out, but honestly it wasn’t the end of the world. It was a great stay for me.

I didn’t feel comfortable staying, so I booked somewhere else for the rest of my trip. There was a communication issue when I arrived, and I felt it was dealt with in an unfriendly and unprofessional way. The listing also didn’t quite match what I expected. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great.

The room was dirty, with cobwebs on the ceiling, and the bathroom was filthy even though it was private. It was outside the room. The place smelled damp, and being on the ground floor made the stay feel especially bad. The air conditioner rattled loudly but didn't cool anything. On May 29, 2025, after we went out for the evening, we came back to huge lizards crawling along the outside walls. There were no window screens, so we worried all night that they might get in. In the morning, other guests checking out were really loud, and we woke to all the noise. I don't know if we could've found another place for 30€ a night, but this was a negative experience.
