Hotel Plateros

The room had a cute view, plus air conditioning and an elevator. It was also easy to walk to monuments and grocery stores from here. The receptionist was especially helpful, explaining everything before I needed to ask, and he spoke both English and German.

The owner patiently answered all our questions in English and was very helpful, even with my poor Spanish. The furnishings were simple but lovely, with plenty of charm, and Plaza de Seneca was especially nice at night, with live music drifting in from nearby. My wife and I booked Hotel Plateros for two nights on the first weekend in July, expecting just a place to sleep near Córdoba’s main sights. We got a wonderful stay that surpassed what we expected. I’ve paid three times as much at hotels that didn’t match Hotel Plateros’ elegant simplicity. Great price, attentive service, fantastic location. I highly recommend it.

We could leave our bags before check-in, and there’s a restaurant downstairs. It’s a lovely rustic hotel in a great spot, just beyond the noisier area. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

The room for one was quite spacious, and the whole hotel was really clean. It’s good value and conveniently placed for getting to the landmarks. I would have liked a little more communication from reception, though, with someone checking whether everything was okay or offering suggestions. Earlier reviews mentioned breakfast being included, but reception didn’t tell me anything about it.
