They really screwed us over for our upcoming vacation. I’d definitely recommend booking somewhere else, which is what I have to do now.

The cottage and its surroundings were lovely and well cared for, and it could have been a charming stay. But the soundproofing was the worst part by far. We could hear everything the neighbors did as if they were inside, and the walls don't reach the ceiling, so there was very little privacy. With children, or if you're hoping to relax, all that noise from both sides makes it hard to unwind or sleep properly. We spent three days in a one-bedroom cottage. Some basic kitchen items were missing, and some of what was there, including spoons and cups, wasn't clean. The duvet wasn't clean either, and the towels were stained. The blankets didn't seem to have been washed since the previous booking, something they should check more carefully. It's a shame, because the area is beautiful. They need to address the noise urgently and improve basic cleanliness and amenities.

The location is peaceful and made it easy to get away from everything. We recently stayed in one of the houses, and it was spotless, well maintained, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The people looking after us were kind and attentive the whole time, making sure we had what we needed. You can tell they care about the details and want guests to enjoy their stay. We'd come back without hesitation. 10/10.
