After a long day on the Camino de Santiago, this rural house was just what we needed: a place to rest, use the pool, and enjoy the barbecue and brand-new rooms. We came across it while walking and were really impressed. Miguel and Ana were wonderful hosts throughout. Thanks for such a great stay, we’d love to return.

Ana was always kind and ready to help with whatever came up. We had a really comfortable weekend with my cousins, and the quiet area made it easy to unwind. The beds were especially comfortable, and we loved the garden, pool, and barbecue space. The only thing I’d improve is the drain smell in the downstairs bathrooms. Everything else was great.

The house is spacious, and the pool is lovely. The beds are comfortable too, but the place doesn’t feel very practical. The kitchen layout is awkward, with a low countertop, lamps that hit the cabinets, and a dishwasher in a strange spot. The pillows are too firm, some showers can’t be hung up, and water leaks outside. One bedroom has no window. I wouldn’t stay again.

There were too few towels in each room, hardly any toilet paper, and no hand towels in the bathrooms. The basement toilet smelled strongly of sewage, the shower trays didn’t drain properly, and we had no hot water on our last day. There was no firewood for the fireplaces, and they had been padlocked so we couldn’t turn on the heating. When we left, we saw through the street-facing window that the sheets weren’t being changed, just reused. The owner’s manner was poor from the start, and when we politely raised these issues without making demands or reproaches, she answered rudely and arrogantly. NEVER RETURN.
