Breakfast was basic and the same every day, and there was no room service, so anything we needed meant going downstairs. The room was small and had almost nothing in it. The window was broken and wouldn't shut properly, the bathroom had very little in it and only one towel per person for everything, and the air conditioning barely worked. The location was far from everything. Nearly €800 for four nights is crazy, since I think a better hotel could be found for the same price.

The room was clean and large, the mattress was comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed the very good breakfast. The view from the window wasn't nice, though, and the pillows were so soft they didn't support my neck. I tried stacking two, but then they were too high.

Reception staff were nice, and it was about a 10-minute walk to the metro or train. The place was functional but had no charm, and sat in an industrial area. Breakfast was mostly carbs, sugar, and charcuterie. The bathroom had a few things needing repair, a stained shower curtain that wouldn't close all the way, and a shower where I couldn't get a steady warm temperature. The water got very hot and burned me a few times. The bedside table also needed repair. Sound insulation was poor, and I heard people having sex twice, once very late and once very early.

I slipped and fell on the hotel's very slippery bathroom floor, and suspect I may have had a mild concussion. I hope the hotel takes this seriously. I don't think I was the first person to fall there, and I doubt I'll be the last.
