Right across the road from the Roman road and Camino trailhead, this place is a lovely spot to stop. It feels cozy but lively, with a beautiful view of the river and a big event room overlooking it. Everything was impeccably clean, and it’s clearly a busy local hub.

We came in for coffee and lunch while on holiday, and even though we don't speak Spanish, the staff made us feel very welcome. The woman serving coffee at the bar was especially helpful, and the two women in the restaurant were both brilliant. The food was excellent too. Thanks, and please pass our good feedback on to the team 🙂

Set just south of the Picos mountains, this family-run place is very welcoming to motorcyclists, and the staff are great. The rooms are comfortable and really clean, though they don't have air conditioning. There is air conditioning in the public areas, and temperatures here are usually comfortable in normal conditions. It's a great hotel and hostel, and I can't recommend it enough.

A handy place to spend the night if you're riding toward Portugal. The food and accommodation are good, and everyone was very friendly. Not much English is spoken, though.
