We'd happily come back. The gardens are beautifully kept, and the location worked well for us. Inside, the apartment was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hosts were friendly, knew their stuff, and were genuinely helpful.

The owner was so attentive, and there are several lovely hiking routes nearby. We came here to get away from city noise, and the quiet, trees, and river right alongside the apartments made it easy to settle down and listen to nature. A great place to relax. Highly recommend it.

The nearest supermarket is about a half-hour drive away, so it's best to buy what you need ahead of time. Collado de la Vera is close, though, and La Tasquita de Collado there serves delicious food at very fair prices, with exceptional service. We stayed for three days and left feeling rested and refreshed. At night we could hear the stream, and in the morning there were birds singing. The houses are comfortable and have what you need for a pleasant stay. It's a lovely spot to meditate, read, write, draw, knit, breathe, or just take a break from the suburban noise and be in nature.

The setting is one of a kind, and the host was extraordinary. Such a good place, highly recommended.
