Emilio was really helpful, and we were very happy with our stay. The house was clean and peaceful, set outside the village. You can rent individual rooms or the whole house; each room has its own bathroom and shower. It's especially suited to getting family or friends together, with a huge living room, restrooms, and a pool with sun loungers. The house is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp and a ground-floor bedroom. I can't say whether that room's bathroom is adapted, since we were the only ones we didn't rent. Be careful with the rural access road, as it's not suitable for low-clearance vehicles. The route from Cuacos de Yuste is better.

The house is out in the countryside, and the road can be narrow if you follow Google Maps. Taking the route closer to Cuacos de Yuste is shorter and better. It's also a good starting point for walks, bike rides, and interesting tourist spots. Inside, the living room is spectacular, and the bedrooms are spacious and well kept. The kitchen is professional-grade, with a superb griddle, so you don't need a barbecue, which I think may be prohibited in the area in summer. There's a large new refrigerator and a chest cooler for bottles. The pool could do with an update, though the owner looks after it daily.

The limited electricity supply made it impossible to run the oven and electric stove at the same time. We were warned when we arrived, but it seems illogical for a house that sleeps 21. The place is spacious, clean, and attractive, and almost lived up to its description, but we missed the advertised ping-pong table and wished the owners had been more attentive. They'd said more firewood would arrive first thing on our second day, since there was only enough for one day. We ran out and had to call to remind them, and it didn't show up until 2:00 PM, so we had no firewood all morning. I'm raising this to encourage improvement, not out of spite, especially since the price isn't the cheapest in the area.
