It's more of a guest house than what I'd call a hostel, so you'll need to step outside for breakfast, bottled water, and things like that, though everything is very close. The rooftop terrace is pretty much the only shared space. The room itself was basic but perfectly fine, clean, air-conditioned, and, most importantly, completely bug-free. The roof terrace gets great sun. The real reason for my five stars is the staff. Every one of them was welcoming and extremely helpful, and I don't feel any need to look elsewhere on my next visit. Go for the staff, they'll make your stay better.

We had trouble getting Wi-Fi in our top-floor room, and quite a bit of water leaked from the air conditioner into the room. Even so, for such a low price I'd book again. The hostel is nicely placed away from the heavier foot traffic closer to the beach, the rooftop terrace is really nice, and the staff were very kind.

The owners were very friendly, and I'd have no hesitation about staying here again. I spent three nights here and everything was fine: the room was comfortable and clean, the location was excellent, and the shower worked well.

The room we were shown was far too tiny for two people, very dark, and had a window that wouldn't open. It also wasn't very clean, which was really disappointing. Maybe the rooms on the other floors are different, but the reception could use an update too. I wouldn't recommend Hostel Ana to anyone.

The terrace has a lovely traditional view over the neighborhood, and you can see the stars from up there at night. The hostel is spotless, the rooms are bright, and the staff are so cheerful, friendly, and helpful.
