Ana was so friendly and helpful. The house has been renovated beautifully, and it feels comfortable. It's peaceful, almost at the edge of the village, with everything we needed for a few days exploring La Vera. Our room had air conditioning, a real plus in summer, and there are shared facilities including coffee and a refrigerator. Breakfast was generous, with plenty if you wanted more.

The breakfast was spectacular, everything tasted delicious. We all had a lovely stay, my husband, son, and I. The place was beautiful and very clean, with comfortable beds and easy access to everything. It made a great base for a few days exploring the area, and we'd definitely come back.

A lovely, quiet spot for unwinding, and a handy base for visiting nearby villages. One small tip for arrival: ask Charlot (the owner) which entrance to use. There are two, and one is easier to get through.

The kindest part of our stay was the attention from the woman who made the beds. The rooms felt small, and our bathroom wasn't completely clean. Breakfast was identical each day: toast, crushed tomatoes, cooked ham, jam, local cheese, and very bad coffee. We missed the high-quality Extremadura products, and the oil was served from bulk bottles. The outdoor area is a fountain or pond used to distribute irrigation water, and the terrace is a patch of ground or patio beside the neighbors' well-kept vegetable gardens. There was no parking at the property or close by, so we had to use the road or park near the pool.
