The attention to detail is mind blowing, and this is a veeeery nice, original place. That said, the new play area needs bringing up to date. In winter, going back and forth between the main house and the new filagoria gave me a pretty bad cold :)

We had a wonderful long weekend. The village is great for hiking, and Pedraza is very close, so we went to visit. Isabel was attentive and made everything easy for us. The house has every detail thought through and is really well equipped, with a big, well set up play area and BBQ. We felt comfortable and at ease the whole time.

We never even left the house for the weekend, and we didn't need to. The games area is separate, with foosball, pool, a fridge, and an indoor BBQ, so anyone heading to bed doesn't have to hear the noise. Inside, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the house was spotless. A few friends and I had such a great time that we'll definitely be back next year. We visit a different rural house each year, and this one is by far the best. Isabel also gave us all kinds of useful tips, including how to set up a barbecue for everyone and where to buy BBQ in Turégano. It was a perfect 10/10. Thanks, Isabel. See you next year!

Cubillo is tiny and charming, with a fairytale feel, and the locals are all very friendly. It's a pleasure to return to Isabel's houses and villages, and this was our third year with her. The country house feels really welcoming, with everything in good condition and all the little details taken care of. We spent most of our time on the covered porch, using the barbecue and playing billiards, foosball, and darts. We'll definitely come back.

This is a great choice for a family or friends weekend. Isabel is a delight as a host and makes the whole experience easy and wonderful. I do weekend getaways pretty often, and this rural house is definitely one of my top three. It's really well maintained, has loads of personality, and has all the thoughtful touches you need. A 10-star place.
