Apartamentos Las Camelias

There’s a private parking area right by the road, though you need a car to get anywhere. Across the road is a place to barbecue and sunbathe, with four kiwi trees that give some shade. They also have bicycles for riding along a path. The surroundings are beautiful, with a classic Asturian landscape. Mosquitoes bit us during our stay, and the repellents available didn’t prevent the bites. The TV signal wasn’t very good either. Those were minor annoyances that didn’t change the quality of our stay.

The owner was lovely, and the path to the main village of Soto de Luiña was very pleasant. You can find everything there, including the FEVE train station. The bedrooms and bathroom upstairs are spacious, while downstairs there’s a living room with a tiny kitchenette, a small fridge, and very few utensils. There’s a separate washing machine shared with others, plus a spiral staircase. The garden is across the road, with no one passing by, and there are stairs leading down to it. It’s enough for sleeping and having breakfast if you won’t be home much, but remember that Asturias has rainy days.

Rosa, the owner, is very friendly. The place is clean, well maintained, and well located for exploring the western coast of Asturias. San Pedro beach is close by. We’ll definitely return.

The sea is only steps away, and the setting feels peaceful and close to nature. The apartments were spotless and had everything we needed. A lovely, quiet place for couples or families.
