The room wasn’t very nice, and the hotel is badly soundproofed. We could hardly sleep because of the guys on the second floor. There’s also demolition work on a wall right next to the hotel at the moment, with noisy work continuing past 8 PM.

The apartments are lovely, with plenty of space, and are clean and reasonably priced. There are nice grounds too, though the weather wasn’t good enough to enjoy them. The café nearby was the only place open when I was there on a Sunday.

After a long day of walking, this felt like a little slice of heaven. The staff were friendly, and the apartments were immaculate.

I was so glad they upgraded me to a ground-floor room, which meant I didn’t have to carry my bags as far. They gave me a very warm welcome, and I slept comfortably. Everything was spotless and furnished in a practical way.
