The rooms at Nuevo Hostal Rasil were impeccable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's about an hour's walk from Cuenca's historic center, which is the one drawback. Still, it's a good place to stay.

For €14.50, the set menu was good value, and everything we ate was delicious. The service was fantastic, and the place is quiet with plenty of parking. I do wish the menu had included a typical Cuenca dish. I also don't understand why the fries aren't homemade, or why you have to choose between dessert and coffee when coffee costs so little and would be a nice extra. Still, the food was delicious.

We'd definitely come back. The setting is peaceful and rural, just 3 km from Cuenca and a shopping center, and there's parking on site. All the staff were friendly and the service was exceptional. They make very good sandwiches, and the homemade bread is delicious.

Iván and Loli take great care of the hotel and restaurant, using top-quality ingredients. We loved the generous portions and delicious food. Thanks for the hospitality, and enjoy your dog!
