The owners were warm and thoughtful, and the bathroom had a good shower with reliable hot water and heating. The sinks were a little awkward to use. The apartment works well for four, though six people would find it cramped; the patio helps. It’s a great base for seeing Cuenca and the surrounding area, but Holy Week can get hectic because the religious processions pass nearby.

The patio is great for kids and pets, and the cave is an amazing spot to relax or barbecue. Eva has made sure guests have what they need, and the internet works perfectly, which matters a lot these days. The house is gorgeous. I honestly can’t think of a downside, and we’ll be back for sure!

Eva and her mother were so lovely and ready to help whenever we needed them. The house sits between the old town and the newer part, which made the location really convenient. We had a wonderful stay in March, and I meant to review it on Booking.com, but by the time I got around to it, the site wouldn’t let me post there, so I’m sharing it here instead. The patio is lovely for breakfast or afternoon tea, and I imagine summer dinners out there must be wonderful. I’d recommend the house to couples like us or to families. You’ll love it. The patio by itself is priceless, and the hospitality from three generations of charming women made our stay feel so welcoming and family-like. Right in Cuenca’s historic center, it’s a lovely place to stay with your family while enjoying the city. We’ll definitely come back. Hugs and kisses, Ángeles, Eva, and Alba.

The patio is a real treat when you’re travelling with children. Eva was lovely and made arriving and checking in incredibly easy. The house is beautiful, spotless, and well located. There’s everything for a lovely breakfast too: juice, coffee, milk, fresh bread, butter, jam, and a delightful cake. A perfect 10!
