The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and the place itself is beautiful, looking out over vineyards and sheep pastures. I had a lovely one-night stay while walking the Camino, and it was convenient, a good alternative to staying in Deba. They don't serve meals, but sell homemade apple juice and wine, along with a few microwave meals. There's a small spot to store and prepare food, though no full kitchen. About 30 minutes earlier on the Camino there's a very good tavern restaurant. It opens at 19:30, so if you eat quickly you can get back before dark.

I hadn't planned on staying in a place right on the pilgrim route. I booked that afternoon, May 28th 2017, because I didn't want to stay in Zumaia. The room was spacious and clean, with a good shower, plenty of pressure, and hot water. Two nearby restaurants were closed, so when I mentioned it, the landlady offered to have her husband drive me somewhere else. Soon after, they invited me to have dinner with them instead. We ate well and had a nice chat, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. I recommend it to pilgrims and other travelers. 👍👣👣👣😎 buen camino

The owner was kind, helpful, and flexible. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, with a view of the small vineyard. I stayed overnight while walking my Camino route to Deba, though the sheets didn't seem very clean.

The hosts were great, the cider delicious, and the place beautiful. I walked the Camino De Santiago, and for me each experience is a good one, just different from the last.

A comfortable, lovely place in a good location, with amazing hosts. It was absolutely worth staying, even though I did miss having a kettle and breakfast.
