Hotel Castillo De Gauzón

We loved this hotel and would choose it again if we return to Spain and want somewhere near the beach. It’s also easy to get to other cities from here. We found it a lovely place for our holiday, with good rooms and service, a nice location near both local and outlying areas, and lovely people working there.

The room was spacious and clean, and the price was reasonable. There’s free parking and Wi-Fi, and Salinas beach is a 15-minute walk away. The front desk women were very accommodating, though they only speak Spanish. It’s a small family hotel just outside Piedras blancas, not too far from the airport. The road outside is busy, with a gas station nearby, so traffic noise does come through. There isn’t much else around, and you’ll need a car if you want to go out for dinner.
