El Canyar

The service from Marcel and Elaine was perfect, and the apartment was spotless. We also liked having a pool and parking on site, with shops like Mercadona, Aldi, and Esclat close by and the town center just a five-minute walk away. It’s a fantastic deal for the price. The beds and mattresses are showing their age and could be more comfortable, and some amenities could use an update. We were two couples, though it could fit up to three, and it would also suit families with small children. We’ll definitely stay again.

The apartment was lovely inside, and the woman managing it was really friendly. The balcony was tiny, and there wasn’t a view. It also lacked a dishwasher, dishes, wine glasses, and cooking utensils. The pool was a letdown: it didn’t seem well maintained, the water was scalding, and you couldn’t see the bottom. There was no shade or sun loungers either.

We had a great weekend here, with a good amount of space and Marcel and Eliana looking after us so well. They were friendly and everything was easy. There’s a bike path right outside, which is handy for excursions, and the apartments are close to ALDI, Lidl, and Mercadona. The municipal library is directly across the street. A nice spot for a few days near the Ebro delta.

Eliane was a lovely host, and the apartment was super clean. We were surprised by how much was there for cooking, and the pool was great. We were with someone using crutches, so the elevator made getting to the pool easy. There were plenty of amenities too.
