The owner was a great host and even let us pick whatever we liked from the vegetable garden. We collected eggs too, from the pond area with its ducks and chickens. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in the peaceful surroundings, and the house was very well equipped. Mosquitoes were the one nuisance, though that’s typical of the Delta. Remember repellent if you visit. There were no issues inside, thanks to the mosquito nets, a thoughtful touch.

We’d planned to enjoy the barbecue and garden with the kids and family, but it was practically impossible because of all the flies and mosquitoes. Being outside was very unpleasant, and the insects also got into the rooms, making the stay uncomfortable. I know it’s a humid area surrounded by rice paddies, but I hadn’t known what it would be like and wish I’d read a review saying so. The house itself was fine and quite well equipped, about ten minutes from supermarkets. The owner was friendly and helpful. It had everything except a toaster.

We’ve visited six times with family and friends, and hope to come back soon. The house is lovely, with a large plot, and the owners keep it in great shape and are very friendly. The Delta around it is spectacular too.

We had a wonderful few days in this spacious, fully renovated house among the rice fields. It’s very quiet and great for relaxing, and there’s even a vegetable garden and chickens.
