Hotel Adsubia

The rooms are small and have no fridge, and the walls do little to block sound. You can hear conversations from next door, along with other noise at night and early in the morning, so sleeping was impossible. Breakfast is a sparse buffet in a small lounge, and the staff seemed indifferent to guests. There is parking around the hotel, with restaurants nearby. It’s a cheap hotel, but those were the downsides.

Breakfast was good value, and I liked the Spanish style. The hotel itself was good value too. The walls are a little thin, so I could hear noise, though it stopped at night. I was only there for one night on the drive back from France, and it rained hard, so I took a taxi to a restaurant and back. There’s no bar, but there is a drinks machine, and Mercadona is very close. I didn’t see any bars in that weather, so I can’t really rate the location.

For a basic hotel, the breakfast was good, though there was a lot of plastic being used. The rooms are noisy because the walls are so thin, but if you’re not a light sleeper, you can sleep fine. It’s good for budget travel. You get what you pay for.

It’s a short walk to plenty of places: about 3 minutes to a supermarket, 10 to the port, and 15 to the centre or beaches. The hotel isn’t right in central Denia, but it’s very good value. Rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good quality, though there’s no cooked option. The walls are thin, which is the one downside. Otherwise, I’d recommend this lovely little hotel.
