We had to cancel our Playasol 111 stay after 10 days because of building work and the lack of WiFi. Several websites advertised WiFi, so we didn't think there was any need to check, though my daughter asked about it when we arrived. The company's reply was that coverage across the whole apartment area was poor, providers couldn't offer more speed, and there was no fiber. They said the only option was for me to come to their office whenever I wanted and could. We had already paid 1000 euros plus a 200 euro deposit, 50% for the Playasol booking, and hoped the company would be reasonable about a refund. Instead, they charged me 460 euros, 50% for Playasol, with another 460.00 outstanding and a refundable deposit of 200 euros. They still haven't answered my emails asking when the deposit will be returned. They also charged my daughter a further 779.00 euros, an overpayment of 119 euros, and wanted another 700 euros to move us to an apartment with WiFi. They charged me a further 273.00 euros for LOS Angeles, 50% of the total. That brought it to 1512.00 euros for 10 days' accommodation without WiFi. The LOS ANGELES paperwork doesn't say anywhere that it's an apartment, just LOS ANGELES, like a hotel. I wonder how many other customers have made the same mistake and been charged. The company has lied and acted very unprofessionally. This is the worst incident I've ever had with a holiday rental company, and I'm very disappointed. I'm amazed they've been in business for 14 years while treating customers so appallingly.
