Hostal Mi Campana

I used the hostel as a base to explore places around Denia and Costa Blanca by public transport, and hired a bike for a couple of days. As in Spain generally, there are plenty of bike trails. I stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The room was well maintained and serviced daily, with a fridge and microwave, and the terrace was fantastic. A local supermarket and laundry facilities are within walking distance, near the service station. Thanks to Javier and Gemma for an enjoyable stay. Hopefully I'll be back one day! 🙏🏽

We hadn't realized the place also had a hotel, but after seeing the good reviews, we might stay there on a future visit. We found the restaurant by chance when we'd nearly given up on finding a lunch table. The Dutch-speaking owner called out to let us know there was still room. We had excellent paella, the house specialty, in a charming courtyard, and you can also get it to take away. They advised us to tell them our paella preference a day ahead because it takes time to prepare.

The restaurant's beautiful garden was where we had the best paella ever. The owners were friendly and pointed us to some of the best local places and restaurants. We stayed at this hostal for 15 nights. The modern rooms are spacious and well kept, with a nice balcony, air conditioning, a fridge, and a bathroom with a large shower. We've already booked our next stay, and highly recommend it.

Our ground-floor room had a very spacious patio where we could sit outside, keep drinks cold in the fridge, and watch the world go by. Breakfast was great, plentiful, and served at the table. We stayed for three nights and had great service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
