The room was clean and roomy, the service was friendly, and the shower had nice Dove products. Breakfast had what you need to get going, but don't expect high quality. For a one-night stopover, the hotel was perfectly adequate, and I'd stay again with realistic expectations. The free airport shuttle is useful. It leaves from level 3 every half hour and is a small black minivan. One downside was that my room connected to the room next door, so I could hear the guests loudly at 4 a.m. coughing up phlegm. Better soundproofing in the walls or doors would help.

The staff are very friendly, and having parking nearby where you can leave your car during your stay is handy. The hotel is close to the airport, which makes it convenient. Breakfast is a classic start before heading out, though there's not much variety and it isn't a large spread.

The hotel does offer a shuttle to the airport, which helps with the location. Getting to the city centre can be less convenient, since sometimes you need to go to the airport first to catch a bus. The room was decent, with a spacious bathroom and a working hairdryer. More power outlets by the bed would have been useful.

Good value for the price, and the breakfast was nice. There weren't many tables available, especially tricky with kids, and the barman was ignorant. The location in beautiful Bilbao was so perfect.

We booked two rooms, one standard double and one special double with a sofa, as described when booking. At check-in, the receptionist said the special room had been given to someone else. I showed her the booking confirmation email, and she put us in a normal room, but charged us for the special one right away. When I questioned it, she said I could file a complaint. I did so through customer service, gave them the details, and was told they'd get back to me. They never did. We were there with family, and the heating didn't work. They gave us a blower, but it stopped working after about 20 minutes. The whole stay was a disaster, and customer service was negative.
