The potato salad they had as a tapa tasted homemade. We didn't stay for anything else. We were there with our choir after a concert, and since it was too warm outside, we sat in. Drinks arrived promptly enough. The waiter, hopeful perhaps that we'd order more, had brought lunch menus and bread, but we turned those down because we were just after beers and tapas.
The atmosphere was great and the food impeccable, but the service was awful. A Jamaican waiter who called himself Super T Bedford kept asking if I knew businesses he could promote, going on about his 12000 Instagram followers, and telling me to google things like 'Super T Bedford'. Behind the bar, two American wannabe singers, Kev Green and Michael Boe, kept urging me to listen to their music.
We were there for a wedding celebration, so the atmosphere was fantastic. The canapés were delicious, and there was plenty of food, though the main food was fine rather than amazing. Service was slow, and some staff members were rude. I can't say what the restaurant or bar is like. They also have accommodation, basic but clean and affordable.
The terrace is large, with cyclists and people staying there around. It seems to be a popular wedding venue too. I stopped in for breakfast, tostadas and café. The bread was nice, with the usual range of toppings. Tables were clean and service was good.
I've been here regularly, mostly for the excellent breakfasts, and I've also had dinner and been to an incredible wedding. It's a great place to spend quality time, with excellent food, staff, and facilities. Highly recommend.
