The garden feels almost magical, with beautifully kept corners where you can find a quiet spot or share wine with friends. We stayed two nights while walking the Camino, and even though the place is off the route, the short drive from Arzua or Melide was worth it. The food was superb, the bathrooms were nice, and Ludi and her team made us feel very welcome. Thick stone walls keep the rooms quiet and the temperature comfortable. There’s no A/C, but we didn’t need it, even in midsummer. I’d love to come back.

The service was really friendly, and the garden is lovely. It’s a peaceful place to stay, with plenty of room in the beautifully restored palace.

The farm is comfortable and spacious, with fruit trees full of fruit that we enjoyed picking and eating. The woman who manages the place was very nice. Our two clingy dogs always came to greet us and stayed close. It’s a good spot for two nights if you want to enjoy a leisurely stretch of rural life.

We come back every year, and I’ve never stayed anywhere better. The rooms are spacious, rustic, and comfortable, and the hotel feels welcoming and luxurious. There’s a lovely games room and an amazing fireplace, plus a pool and paddle tennis courts, which I’d never seen at a hotel before. Highly recommended.
