We kept having to go downstairs for towels because housekeeping removed them without replacing them, even though we followed the posted instruction to leave them on the rack to protect the environment. The pillows were uncomfortable, and there was an unpleasant smell from the bathtub and from the shower and sink water. More seriously, when we arrived, the previous guests had left the stove on and staff hadn’t noticed. A friend was lying on the bed right beside it, and it could easily have started a fire. We caught it in time and reported it straight away. This is a serious failure of basic attention to guest safety and service. I hope the hotel takes it seriously and fixes these issues promptly.

The deck and its views were great, and there were swimming pools too. Our rooms were clean, the staff were awesome, and Kamal was especially helpful and made us feel at home. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend staying here.

Room allocation makes a big difference here. I’d asked for a high floor when booking, but got the ground floor, which was a letdown. The balcony opened onto the pool bar and bins, with staff around from early morning and loud, lively music by the afternoon. There was no privacy at all. As soon as I opened the balcony door, everyone could see me, and I hated that. I also couldn’t see the sea, which I thought I’d paid for. After the first day I asked to move, and the hotel let us switch to the second floor. I was very grateful. The view up there was stunning and made my stay as good as it could be. It’s a shame we lost a day waiting, since we only had four nights and the first night was already overshadowed. The hotel is doing a good job, so don’t be put off, but your experience may depend on which room you’re given.

The balcony view from our room was amazing, and the cooking facilities covered what we needed. The hotel was lovely and clean. Kamal at reception was especially great, and all the staff were friendly, including the women who cleaned each day and the big security guard, who was super friendly too.
