Teresa made the weekend fantastic. She was warm and joking with us from the start, showed us around, offered breakfast, and was there whenever we needed her. I’d been a bit nervous after reading other reviews, but we were a group of friends and had a very good stay. The rooms were warm and clean with private bathrooms. The facilities were good for what it is, a 2-star rural guesthouse, not a 5-star hotel. I found the mattress a bit firm, but that’s personal preference. I did miss having shower gel or shampoo. Otherwise, honestly, it was very good and deserves a good rating. Thanks so much, Teresa!

We left early after a really unpleasant stay and lost our last night without a refund. My boyfriend and I had planned one night using a gift box and paid separately for an extra night. The owner charged us €60 more, saying we’d get “the largest room,” but the only difference was a bigger bed made by pushing two small beds together. There was no breakfast and no restaurant option because the owner said she was going to the countryside and wouldn’t be there all day. There were no alternatives or solutions, and she showed no interest in helping. The towels were stiff and blackened, and there was no shampoo or shower gel. We were the only guests that weekend, yet when she was at the hostel, where she lives upstairs, she made a lot of noise and we couldn’t rest. The most serious thing was that she entered our room without permission. We knew because the door had been locked, and she admitted it. She said it was because we’d left the air conditioning on due to the cold. She called us shouting, used rude language, and threatened to charge another €100. Her behavior was aggressive and intimidating. What should have been a peaceful, special night became uncomfortable and unpleasant. I could say more, but that’s enough. We wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Teresa’s food was plentiful and delicious, and the accommodation is in a stunning spot where you can enjoy nature. We stayed over the long weekend and had a truly wonderful time. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it.

She was rude and even yelled when I complained. I found a hairy dog on the floor, the bedding was old flannel, and the towels were blackened. My breakfast was left cold on a tray, with instructions to heat it in the microwave. She said there were problems with her animals, and she’s charging €5 to clean the room. I’ve never had that happen in a 2-star rural hotel before. Terrible.
