The sofa was the one letdown, it’s impossible to sit back and relax on it. Apart from that, it’s good value. The apartment is clean and in a good location, and Fernando is attentive and a perfect host.

We had such a good time, though it was sad when the days came to an end. The apartment was in a great spot and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner welcomed us warmly and helped us plan our outings, including useful details about the permits we needed for the hikes. El Bosque is a beautiful village, close to many of the trails we wanted to explore.

Fernando was wonderful from the start, helping me with whatever I needed. He sent locations and voice messages for ice cream shops, plus suggestions for meals and breakfast for my family. The apartment was spotless, the towels smelled lovely and were incredibly soft, and the bedrooms were beautifully decorated. The mattress was very comfortable, my son slept on it. We used the sofa bed in the living room because it was an extremely hot night and that was the only room with air conditioning. A fan in the bedrooms would have been enough for me, but there wasn’t one. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed, and the bathroom was great, with such strong water pressure I got soaked. I highly recommend it, and we’ll come back as soon as we can.

Pets are welcome, and the location is ideal. I stayed there in July recently and everything felt fantastic and brand new. Fernando Gutierrez, the owner, was really friendly and gave me great recommendations to help organize the stay.
