We had a place to store our bikes downstairs, which was handy on our ride toward Seville. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the room was spacious, with a big bathroom and a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV. We went for an evening run nearby, then ate at the restaurant. The menu had good à la carte choices and a very good-value menú del día. Breakfast the next morning included local ham and plenty more, and was covered by the room rate. Macami is a nice, newer hotel with very helpful staff and good value.

You’ll need your own car or to get around by bus, but the prices are great and the service is lovely. The quality was much better than I expected, and it’s cheaper and better than staying in town. A place to consider when visiting Cordoba.

The walls are so thin I could tell what language the people next door were speaking. Also, the shower water often sprays onto the door and has damaged its lower part. A little more light in the room would help. The room itself was really clean and big enough, and it was easy to drive to. If reception is closed, you have to ask in the restaurant. A sign explaining that would be useful.

The hotel is a very nice place to stay. I liked the steak on the first day, but the second one was too rare for me. I mentioned it to the gentleman, who seemed annoyed and didn’t seem willing to help.

The restaurant next door was convenient, and the rooms were okay. It’s about a 20-minute drive from Cordoba. The internet wasn’t working, and there was nobody at reception even at 10 o’clock in the morning.
