Hotel Midmost by Majestic Hotel Group

I felt safe and cared for throughout my stay, even as a 71-year-old woman traveling alone. The central location was convenient, the rooms were sparkling clean and updated with any amenity I could want, and breakfast was vast, delicious and bottomless. The reasonable nightly rate felt well worth it, especially with the cheerful staff always ready to help. Everyone, from reception and breakfast to room service, was exceptionally welcoming. When a massage therapist arrived late, reception sorted it out and gave me 30 extra minutes of service. There wasn’t anything serious wrong, but they responded to even a hint of a problem with a generous gesture. On arrival I received a coupon for a free glass of Cava at the rooftop bar. When I asked for a good Tapas place in the city, they directed me to one and gave me another Cava coupon for dinner, which the restaurant gladly accepted. I’d ordered a bottle of Cava with my reservation and massage for the last 48 hours of my month-long trip around Europe. With those two free glasses and my short stay, I left the unopened bottle for the hotel staff. I’d recommend Midmost to families, couples, singles and women like me. Bravo Midmost! We paid almost 300 euro a night, but both showers leaked badly. The first one flooded half the bathroom floor and the water spread across it. The maintenance guy seemed bothered that we raised it. They moved us to another room, only for that shower to leak too. The front desk said they’d send someone up, but offered no compensation or other remedy. There’s also a club around the corner, so expect drunk kids screaming all night. We’d picked this place after searching for a while because it looked nice, even though it was above our budget. It definitely wasn’t worth the price. If you’re choosing between this and another hotel, go with the other one.

The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make things special, including sharing great local recommendations. Our room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and breakfast had lots of delicious choices. We absolutely loved our stay at Mid Most hotel. It’s perfectly located a short walk from the main attractions. Highly recommend!

A balcony with a great view was a lovely addition, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was perfect, while the free breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, close to La Rambla street and Plaça de Catalunya and everything else. I’d highly recommend it and stay here again!
