There are rules posted everywhere, on doors and walls: don’t slam doors, open closet doors, make noise in the halls or in rooms, plus a thousand other things. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and never seen so much nonsense. It makes you feel like they think their customers are idiots. I’m sure they search your luggage to find out what you do for a living. The restaurant is always shut, and the café only opens for a short time in the morning. The heating and air conditioning work whenever they feel like it. They even boast about only letting in customers they like. If you’re ugly or fat, forget it.

It’s a good price, and the free private parking is a real help for those of us here for work. Everything is very clean, the staff are friendly, and I’ll definitely come back.

The place was spotless when I stayed last August. Miguel Ángel, the only person I know there, is very kind and attentive to customers, and gives excellent service.

They have far too many rules for guests. Whether they give you a room seems to depend on how you look. They speak badly about competitors so you can’t compare, and when there’s no room in the same category, they won’t help you.
